My name is Paul. I love coffee, music, travelling, and I'm a self-proclaimed chef with four good recipes. Oh, and by the way I'm also a professional photographer and proprietor of The Photography Studio ... no, really I am.
Shooting weddings is something I am passionate about and take the responsibility very seriously.
When I am hired to shoot a wedding I am honoured to be trusted with documenting one of your most important days.
With every wedding, each couple has a unique personality and I like to tailor the shoot to match.
When asked about my style, it's simple ... my style is about beauty.
Some photographers proclaim their styles to be journalistic, traditional, or lifestyle but I believe a wedding requires all styles and a flexibility to see the moment.

My wife Laurie, (A.K.A ' The Boss'), makes my life easier with everything from assisting with sessions and organizing shoots to coming up with creative ideas, setting up, wardrobe, and posing. Laurie has the unique ability to anticipate my needs during a shoot while maintaining a relaxed, fun, timely schedule, assuring we capture all images necessary to show your day.
Weeks and days before a wedding we scout the location together to come up with the ideas and layout the plan for the big day.
Mark
Assistant/2nd Shooter
I met Mark years ago in the commercial photography industry and we quickly became friends.
Mark has collaborated with me on numerous projects where he proved his ability to capture images of distinctive elements with significance. With his background in advertising, design, and photography he has a keen eye for detail, is enthusiastic, and can see something 'ordinary' and turn it into anything but. Mark has proven himself to be an asset as a second shooter and can be found capturing all those behind-the-scenes shots.
The Studio
When you walk in the front door of the studio you will be looking at the lounge area. The comfy leather couches and family room atmosphere makes it a great spot to sit and plan your photo session. Through the double doors is the studio, a truly professional, fully equipped, 1000 sq ft studio, ....to my delight at this point people usually say "Oh, Wow!".
